IFTA reporting needs the fuel you bought in each jurisdiction, and that information is printed on every fuel receipt. Drop photos or PDFs of your fuel receipts and get a spreadsheet with the date, station, state or province, gallons, price per gallon and total for each. The summary tab adds up gallons and dollars by jurisdiction. Mileage isn't on receipts, so combine this with your trip records when you file.

fuel receipts — pytania

Does it calculate my IFTA tax?

No. It gives you gallons and totals by jurisdiction from your receipts. Your IFTA return also needs miles per jurisdiction from your trip records.

What if the state isn't printed on the receipt?

The Jurisdiction cell is left empty and the row is flagged so you can type it in.

Does it separate DEF from diesel?

When DEF is a separate line, the receipt gets a note in the description. You can split the row in the table if you need separate totals.
