How we handle your files

Your files are resized in your browser, and each page is read to pull out the line items. To extract the fields, each page is processed by a third-party AI provider (Meta Muse Spark 1.3, served via OpenCode Go). We don't store your files or the extracted data on our servers. The table lives in your browser until you clear it. We keep a log of how many pages were processed, the token counts and how long they took, without any file contents.

This provider runs on a contributor tier: prompts and completions may be used to improve Meta's models and are not processed under a zero-retention agreement. See the OpenCode Go privacy notes. Don't upload receipts you aren't allowed to share.

Credits and accounts

Anonymous visitors receive 10 free credits, and a free account adds 50 more. We store a credit ledger and, for signed-in users, your email address.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count anonymous traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how many people. It sets cookies and reports page views, but it never receives your files or the values we read from them.

No tax advice

ReceiptBatch is a file-conversion tool. It does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice. Check every value against your receipts and confirm categories with your accountant.
