Processed, then discarded. We never store your files. · Not tax advice.

Scanning receipts one at a time is slow. Lay several flat on the scanner glass or a table, without overlapping, and capture them in a single scan or photo. When you drop the image here, each receipt it finds becomes its own row in the table. Rows from the same image are marked "1 of 3", "2 of 3" and so on, so you can check them against the picture. The whole image costs one credit, however many receipts are in it.

Why it’s slow by hand

Why one-receipt-per-scan is slow

  • Scanning each receipt separately takes many passes.
  • Most scanning apps treat a page as one document.
  • Small receipts waste most of the page.

FAQ

multi-receipt scans — questions

How many receipts can be in one photo?

Several, as long as they don't overlap and the text is readable. Four to six small receipts per scan usually works well.

Does a photo with 4 receipts cost 4 credits?

No. Credits are counted per image or PDF page, so a photo with several receipts costs one credit.

What if two receipts get merged?

Check rows marked for review against the image. You can edit or delete rows, then re-run the image if needed.
